Ronchi and Elliott break world record
A record unbeaten stand of 267 between Ronchi (170*) and Elliott (104*) steers New Zealand to a massive score of 360/5 against Sri Lanka in Dunedin.
New Zealand batsmen Luke Ronchi and Grant Elliott have broken the world record for a sixth-wicket partnership in a One Day International, and helped their side to recover from being 5-93 to making 5-360 against Sri Lanka in the fifth match of their series.
Ronchi's 170no (99) is also the highest score by a number seven batsmen in ODI history.
He struck 14 fours and nine sixes in his innings.
Elliott made 104 from 96 balls and struck seven fours and two sixes.
