Glenn Maxwell's Greatest XI

A natural striker of the cricket ball, Glenn Maxwell backs himself to clear the fence with a range of traditional and unorthodox shots. He burst on to the scene hitting a match-winning unbeaten 56 not out off just 38 balls against Pakistan in September 2012, having coming to bat at No.7.

That was only Maxwell's fourth One-Day International and has not looked back since then. An effective off-spinner and a sharp fielder both inside the ring and in the outfield, Maxwell provides the balance that makes Australia a strong one-day outfit as he makes his ICC Cricket World Cup debut in 2015.
